The eight lands of Shanghai Disneyland

Shanghai Disneyland is organised into eight themed lands. Seven of them anchor the park you walk through — Mickey Avenue, Gardens of Imagination, Fantasyland, Treasure Cove, Adventure Isle, Tomorrowland and Zootopia — and the eighth is Disney-Pixar Toy Story Land, added in 2018. The park opened on 16 June 2016 with six lands, gained Toy Story Land in 2018, and added Zootopia on 20 December 2023.

Several of these lands exist nowhere else in the Disney world. Treasure Cove is the first fully pirate-themed land at any Disney park, Gardens of Imagination and Adventure Isle are unique to Shanghai, and Zootopia was a world first. Use the guides below to see which rides sit in each land, what the height limits are, and how to sequence them into a single day. Câu hỏi thường gặp

How many lands does Shanghai Disneyland have?

Officially eight themed lands. Seven of them have their own areas you navigate the park by — Mickey Avenue, Gardens of Imagination, Fantasyland, Treasure Cove, Adventure Isle, Tomorrowland and Zootopia — plus Disney-Pixar Toy Story Land, which opened in 2018 as the eighth. The park opened in 2016 with six lands and has expanded twice since.

Which land has the castle?

Fantasyland, the largest land, is built around the Enchanted Storybook Castle. At about 60 metres it is the tallest, largest and most complex castle at any Disney park, and unusually you can walk inside it to a boat ride, a restaurant and princess meet-and-greets.

Which is the newest land?

Zootopia, which opened on 20 December 2023 as the world's first Zootopia-themed land. It is headlined by the trackless dark ride Zootopia: Hot Pursuit and tends to draw the longest queues of any area on a normal day.
