Below is our own not-to-scale map of Shanghai Disneyland’s eight lands — it shows what sits where and how the lands connect, not exact distances. We don’t reproduce the resort’s official map, since that’s Disney’s own copyrighted artwork; use the numbered lands below to orient yourself, and the official app for a live, GPS-based map.

How the park is laid out: entrance, castle, spokes
The park opens with Mickey Avenue, the main street running from the turnstiles to Gardens of Imagination, the central plaza. From that hub, every other land branches off like spokes on a wheel — a hub-and-spoke layout used across several Disney parks. Enchanted Storybook Castle sits at the border of Gardens of Imagination and Fantasyland, the park’s largest land, which wraps around behind it.
The practical takeaway: stand facing the castle from the central plaza, and you can walk the rest of the park in either direction without crossing back through the middle. That’s also how the day-planning guide sequences a route — around the loop, not back and forth.

“Left” and “right” are as seen from the central plaza, facing the castle with the entrance behind you. Positions were checked against ride coordinates in OpenStreetMap. Walking the loop from the entrance, the lands run: Tomorrowland → Toy Story Land → Fantasyland → Zootopia → Treasure Cove → Adventure Isle, and back to Mickey Avenue.
What’s in each land
1. Mickey Avenue
The first land past the turnstiles — shops and character meet-and-greets replacing the classic Main Street U.S.A. It’s also home to the Baby Care Center for parents travelling with small children. There are no standalone attraction pages here, but it’s the easiest place to get your bearings and grab a last souvenir on the way out.
2. Gardens of Imagination
The central hub plaza in front of the castle, unique among Disney parks, built around a garden themed to the twelve animals of the Chinese zodiac. It’s also the best viewing spot for the daytime parade, Mickey’s Storybook Express, and the nighttime show, Illuminate.
3. Fantasyland
The park’s largest land, wrapping around and behind Enchanted Storybook Castle — you can even ride a boat, Voyage to the Crystal Grotto, through the castle itself. Full details on the Fantasyland page.

4. Toy Story Land
A compact land themed to Toy Story, adjoining Fantasyland; opened in 2018 as the park’s first expansion. Three rides, two of which rank among the more intense attractions in the park.

5. Treasure Cove
The first fully pirate-themed land at any Disney park, headlined by the Pirates of the Caribbean boat ride and a permanent stunt show that features a controlled tornado effect.

6. Adventure Isle
Built around Roaring Mountain — a flight simulator, a raft ride that guarantees you’ll get wet, and Camp Discovery, an open-air climbing area.
7. Tomorrowland

8. Zootopia
The park’s newest land, opened December 20, 2023 — the world’s first land themed to Zootopia, with a trackless dark ride that draws some of the longest queues in the park on an ordinary day.

常见问题
How many lands are on the Shanghai Disneyland map?
Eight: Mickey Avenue, Gardens of Imagination, Fantasyland, Toy Story Land, Treasure Cove, Adventure Isle, Tomorrowland and Zootopia. Toy Story Land does not get its own page on the official site, but by layout and ride lineup it functions as its own land, not part of Fantasyland.
Where is the entrance on the map?
You enter through Mickey Avenue, the main street leading from the gates to Gardens of Imagination, the central plaza in front of the castle. Every other land branches off that plaza in a hub-and-spoke layout.
Where is the castle and the headline rides?
Enchanted Storybook Castle sits at the border of Gardens of Imagination and Fantasyland, the park's largest land. The headline rides are spread across different lands: TRON in Tomorrowland, Pirates of the Caribbean in Treasure Cove, Zootopia: Hot Pursuit in its own namesake land.
